Statement from Mayor Jerry Jackson on Reelection Win

Mayor Jerry Jackson released the following statement after his win on election night.

"I want to first thank Rhonda Watkins for her willingness to serve our community. I want to thank Harrison voters for your vote of confidence. And, I want to thank my family for your support. There have been times when you wished I wouldn’t pursue a second term, but, in the end, you knew it was best for Harrison. It has been a pleasure to work with our department heads and every member of our great City team. Thank you for your work and commitment. I am so proud of our community for realizing the opportunities Harrison has moving forward. We are, without a doubt, positioned to be the premiere small town in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. We can offer a quality of life second to none. We’ve made significant progress in the four years I’ve served as Mayor and we’re positioned to do much much more in the next four. My goal is for Harrison to be known as a great place to live and work and raise a family. I’m excited for the opportunity to help lead our community for another term!"
