Dan Reynolds started a career in the mid 1980’s as the first leased-access channel in Harrison (TKO8) covering Local news, football, sports and other special interest activities on the TCA Cable system on channel 8. Dan also received the first FCC television license in the Harrison area and began Hometown TV channel 26.
In 2004, another broadcast license was granted for the Mountain Home area and Dan and his 2 sons (Ian and Gil) began covering local new, sports and event activities.
In that same year “726 Harrison” and “726 Mountain Home” talk show began airing once weekly bringing in local guests in the area informing local viewers about local events, activities, interesting people and featuring local government entities.
In 2020 the 726 Mountain Home show was replaced by “Down on the Corner” which airs Monday through Friday at 8:00AM and a partnership with KHOZ’s morning show, “Around the Table” was added in the 9:00 AM time slot simulcasting on Facebook, over KHOZ 900am and 94.9 FM and LIVE on K26TV in Harrison and Mtn. Home.
Dan is passionate about the local community and was involved with the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce for 3 terms and chairman for 12 years coordinating the Harrison Christmas parade. Dan was Executive Director of the Ozarks Arts Council managing upcoming events and the day to day of the Lyric Theatre. Dan also appeared on stage as one of the actors in several plays produced at the Lyric.
Not only has Dan been a video producer focusing on local TV but has been writing, producing and directing short films for the past 5 years.
Dan is married to Kelly Reynolds and they enjoy their horses, dogs, hiking, Grand kids, road trips and just about any outdoor activity.
