The Arkansas Athletic Association hosted its annual Track and Field Meet of Champions Wednesday in Russellville.
Four schools from the area were a part of the field for this year's competition pitting the top State Track Finishers from all classes.
The top area finisher was Laiklyn Stephens of Harrison, who finished third in the Girls Triple Jump. Stephens also took part in the Long Jump, finishing sixth.
Yellville-Summit qualified in the most events, with the highest finish coming in the Girls 4 x 400 Meter Relay taking sixth. The team qualified in seven events overall, all in the girls meet.
Lydia Russell of Green Forest competed in four events, finishing in the Top 10 in the Girls 100 and 300 Meter Hurdles as well as the Long and Triple Jumps.
The Omaha Boys 4 x 400 Meter Relay team took home eighth place in their race.
