Former Presidential Press Secretary and Candidate for Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders will visit "Camp Jack" in Harrison later this month.
Callie Mondy from Camp Jack spoke with “Around the Table” on KHOZ Tuesday to discuss the visit. Mondy said they reached out to her because she is a “big supporter of Veterans.”
“We said we would love for you to come down and see our little piece of the pie, and she got back with us and was thrilled to.” Huckabee Sanders will be there on June 24; the doors open at 11 a.m. “She is not coming as a political visit. It’s not a campaign stop,” Mondy said. Mondy added that they want Veterans to come to speak with Huckabee Sanders at this forum. Mondy also said that those who want to come need to pick up an invitation.
