The 2023 John Paul Hammerschmidt Men and Women of Distinction are celebrated at a luncheon held Wednesday at the Signature Bank Tower.
The Men selected for this year’s honor were Arlon Hickman, Jerry Jones, Blake Keeton, and John Weir. The Women being honored this year were Amanda Chitsey, Sammie Cribbs, and Billye Sue Lawrence.
The seven individuals were selected out of a group of area residents nominated for the honor.
The Harrison Daily Times and North Arkansas College team up for the presentation annually which also includes scholarship presentations for future North Ark Students.
