Marion County Man Faces Charges After Crashing Into Police Patrol Vehicle

A Marion County man is facing multiple charges after crashing into a deputy’s patrol car. The incident leading to the arrest of 23-year-old Isaac Benjamin Clay Elliott of Yellville happened April 11.

According to the probable cause affidavit, the incident occurred in the parking lot of the Dollar General store in Pyatt when a pair of deputies noticed Elliott at the store. They turned around and Elliott tried to flee on a motorcycle through the parking lot and crashed into one of the deputy’s patrol cars. Elliott then fled on foot before being apprehended at the end of the parking lot.

Elliott is facing a felony charge of fleeing along with seven misdemeanor charges including driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to arrest, fleeing on foot, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, having no liability insurance and having no motorcycle endorsement. He is free on $5,000 bond.
