Marion County has debuted an updated website.
The address remains the same — marioncounty.arkansas.gov — but the site sports a new user-friendly look built by Dominator Websites.
The new website includes all of the county departments listed in alphabetical order on a side bar, with a slide-out menu for tablet and mobile versions. Those departments include: Assessor, Collector, County & Circuit Clerk, County Judge, Emergency Management/E911, Election Commission, Quorum Court, Road Department, Transfer Station/Recycling Center, Treasurer and Veterans Services. Contact information for each department as well as that department’s functions, forms and procedures are listed on their corresponding page.
The site also has a link to a county-wide calendar of events. The calendar can be filtered to show a specific town or an event location by clicking the selection dropdown menus on the calendar itself. Visitors may also suggest calendar events that community organizations or local businesses are hosting by clicking on the ‘Suggest Event’ button on the calendar and completing the form.
The website also shows the address, hours and map for the county’s offices and has links at the bottom of each page to other county entities. A link to the Marion County Library and the county’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel are also listed as well.
