The continuing work on Goblin Drive will result in a closure of the road at the end of the month.
According to a post from the City of Harrison, the first part of that work occurred this week as the right turn lane from Industrial Park Road to Goblin Drive has closed. That will eventually lead to the closure of Goblin Drive between Industrial Park Road and Burls Way which begins May 30 and is expected to reopen around June 26th.
During that time a detour will be set-up using Burls Way and Speer Drive. The city says that access to businesses and storage units on that section of Goblin Drive will allowed but thru traffic will need to use the detour.
The closure will allow the construction crews to complete the tie-ins from the new roadway and bridge to the existing street.
