A meeting will be held in the region this week addressing the issue of Feral Hogs.
The Arkansas Feral Hog Eradication Task Force is working to connect with landowners hat face problems associated with feral hogs. The task force also wants to know what are the main concerns landowners have when removing feral hogs from their property.
The task force will hold a public meeting on feral hogs Thursday evening beginning at 5:30 at the Baxter County Fairgrounds. Organizers will serve a free meal to start the meeting, and experts will make their presentations after dinner until about 7:30.
Topics covered at the meeting include state and federal assistance, different methods of hog removal and long-term goals associated with feral hog management.
