The Harrison Lady Goblins look to complete another run at the Class 4 State Soccer Championship this week after taking three matches in the 4A State Tournament in Harrison this week.
After winning their opening two matches by large margins, the Lady Goblins edge out De Queen 3-2 in the Semi-finals to move on to the State Championship Match Friday in Benton against Pulaski Academy, who defeated Valley View 1-0 in the other Semi-final Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Green Forest Boys and Girls Teams also will play for State Championships in Benton.
The Lady Tigers grabbed a 3-2 win in North Little Rock over host Central Arkansas Christian Saturday while the Tigers shutout the host Mustangs 4-0. Both Green Forest Teams will play Harding Academy for the 3A State Championships on Saturday.
Baseball
The Harrison Baseball Goblins run in the 4A State Baseball Championships ended in Morrilton Friday with an 8-2 loss to Valley View in the Quarterfinals. The Goblins had stayed alive in the Tournament after a come from behind 10-9 extra inning win over Camden-Fairview in the opening round on Thursday.
