Update on Harrison Leaf Pick-Up

Leaf pick-up falls further behind but still ongoing.

The City of Harrison posted an update of the ongoing leaf pick-up on their Facebook page Monday morning saying, "Update on the Leaf Pick-up....crews are in multiple wards at this time, and trying to catch up! Finishing up Ward 2 and Ward 3, and starting Ward 1 in 3 to 4 days. Please be patient with the crews, they are working hard to get to your neighborhood."

Previously KHOZ had spoken with Harrison Public Works Director, Wade Phillips, who said the early delays were expected and that crews would be catching up in the coming days and weeks. Phillips said that the first ward [Ward 2] always takes the longest because of the abundance of leaves. Wards one and four have less leaves, generally, and crews usually catch up during the final weeks.

Leaf pick-up is scheduled to be completed by December 23rd.
