Project Might Finish by Next Year, Other Projects

Harrison Chief Operations Officer Wade Phillips said Monday that construction on 65 and 43 is moving along nicely; he expects it to finish next year.

Phillips said during KHOZ's Monday broadcast of "Around The Table" that some of the crew working on that plans on moving over to Goblin Drive after working on the current area. He said they are still waiting on bridge steel, and that the wait for materials is longer than usual. Also, new traffic lights are in the works; one will be present at Airport Road. Later, Phillips discussed roundabouts.

He also said most traffic lights in the area rely on sensors. However, he said any new traffic lights will rely on cameras; he said they're more reliable and easier to work on. The Creekside Community Center was also a topic of discussion on the show.
