Opportunity Arkansas Founder Nick Horton on Huckabee-Sanders' Picks

Founder of Opportunity Arkansas Nick Horton talked Friday about Governor-Elect Sarah Huckabee Sanders' cabinet picks.

Horton spoke about this during KHOZ's "Around The Table" Friday show. "It's an exciting time to be a conservative in Arkansas," he said. Horton highlighted three of Sanders' picks. He said he's "excited" about these because of their qualifications and said they're "aligned" with some Opportunity Arkansas efforts. The first one he pointed out was Kristi Putnam.

Putnam was selected to lead the Department of Human Services. Horton said this department impacts Medicaid, food stamps and more. He underlined her previous work with Medicaid in Kentucky.

Additionally, Horton admitted that despite his initial reservations about many picks being out of state, a "fresh perspective" could arise from outside ideas.

Later, Horton discussed the other picks. All of this and more was discussed during the program.

The full interview with Horton is available on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
