More FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers Close, Including in Madison and Marion Counties

The Federal Emergency Management Agency continues to consolidate the Disaster Recovery Centers in northern Arkansas.

FEMA announces that today (Tuesday 7/9) is the last days that Disaster Recovery Centers will be open in Madison and Marion Counties, which follows the closure of the center last week in Boone County.

A total of five centers are closing across the state with the two remaining open located in Baxter and Benton Counties. The Baxter County Center is at the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas on Highland Street in Mountain Home while the Benton County Center is located at Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville.

The release posted by KTLO says that victims of the Memorial Day Weekend tornados can apply at either of the centers or can go online  disasterassistance.gov, use the FEMA mobile app or call 800-621-3362. The phone line is every day from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.
