Mayor Jerry Jackson Discusses Projects to be Finished

Harrison Mayor Jerry Jackson said Friday that the new City Hall is expected to open in a month.

While there have been challenges to the project, the mayor said during KHOZ's "Around The Table" broadcast that they will be overcome. Jackson said with all the shortages, the project is coming together. He said it's a big win when a project comes in a couple months late and only a couple hundred over budget.

"I don't think it's due to inflation," Jackson said. He said "I believe" the community will receive everything expected in this project.

Jackson also discussed the new community and aquatic center. $20 million is being spent on the community center. Later, Jackson discussed the success of the splashpad attraction.

The mayor discussed all this and more. The full interview with Jackson is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
