A Marion County man has been arrested on multiple charges for possession of drugs and firearms.
Last Friday evening, a Gassville officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for swerving into both westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 62 West, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Upon making contact with the occupants, it was discovered the driver, 48-year-old Marshall Bondell Gibson of Yellville, was on felony probation and had an active search waiver on file.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a vape pen with THC liquid, THC wax, 2.4 grams of methamphetamine and a rifle.
Marshall was taken to the Baxter County Jail on felony charges of simultaneous posession of drugs and firearms, posession of firearms by a certain person, posession of methamphetamine, and posession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver, all felonies; and two counts of posession of marijuana and one count of careless and prohibited driving, both misdemeanors.
Bond is set at $25,000.
