Branden Renly was sentenced to 72 months in prison for an incident that happened in March of 2021 that involved his shooting at the father of Zoe Bagby after Renly attacked Shelton Welsh who was asleep in a bed with Bagby in an apartment.

5. Wild police chase through Harrison ends with capture of wanted parolee – April 13, 2022

A police chase that resulted in speeds of over 100 MPH ended in the arrest of 43-year-old Daniel Hill after he crashed into two cars and was boxed in by police on North Rowland Street.

4. Internet Lounges in Harrison, Mountain Home Shut-Down, Owner Arrested – July 29, 2022

Daniel P. Scallor of Green Forest was arrested in Baxter County for keeping a gambling house. Harrison Police Officers conducted and undercover operation to confirm that Platinum Internet Lounge in Harrison was indeed an illegal gambling house.

A press release from the Boone County Sheriffs office notified the public that a member of the Boone County Jail staff, Linda Minyard had been killed in an apparent murder-suicide by William Len Minyard Jr.

Mabo Investments LLC announced through a Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce Press Release that their newest Popeye’s Restaurant was coming to Harrison. Their renovation on their location is nearing completion more than nine months later.
