King: Crime, Taxes and More

Arkansas State Senate Candidate Bryan King said Wednesday that he will focus on crime if he wins this election.

King appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" Wednesday to discuss key issues. He listed crime, taxes and education as important topics. He also acknowledged the concern about teacher pay. He touched on surplus as a central concern for him.

He said surplus funds should be used once and "not for ongoing things." He said it's better to spend that money on infrastructure projects. King also voiced his thoughts on colleges. Aside from that, he addressed critics.

He said the process needs to be slowed down when it comes to bills; he is criticized for not voting in the past. King said he will propose rules to slow the process of the bills and allow for time to learn about the bills themselves. King said this wouldn't slow the government but would allow each senator to run a bill a day.

All of this and more was discussed in the interview.

The full interview with King is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
