Hutchinson Appointments Include Several Area Residents

Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson announces a new round of state appointments and reappointments last week which includes several area residents.

According to a release from the governor's office, two reappointments go to Harrison residents. Ryan Clayborn has been reappointed to the Arkansas Early Childhood Commission with a term that expires on June 30, 2024 while John Neal is reappointed to the Arkansas Local Police and Fire Retirement System Board of Trustees thru December 31, 2023.

The Mayor of Eureka Springs is one of the governor's appointees as  Robert Berry is named to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on National Service and Volunteerism with a term that expires on August 30, 2024. Another person from Eureka Springs, Randy Wolfinbarger, is reappointed to the State Parks, Recreation, and Travel Commission thru January 14, 2027. 

Also receiving an appointment from the area is Judith Branscum of Marshall, who is named to the Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission with a term expiring on March 29, 2023.
