Harrison High School Student Bannon Jones represented Arkansas this summer at a Youth Leadership Conference.
Jones stopped by KHOZ's "Around the Table" program to talk about his experiences at the Hugh O'Brian Leadership Congress. Jones was one of many students around the state that attended the Arkansas State Event at Southern Arkansas University then was one of four students to represent Arkansas at the World Congress event in Chicago.
Jones discusses what he has learned during his trip and how he visited with several individuals and told them about Harrison and how it differs from some of the stories they have heard in the media. Jones said he also learned much from the international representatives that attended the event.
The organization has been around since the 1950's and was established by the movie and television actor known for roles including the title character in the "Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp."
