Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce Announces Giveaways, Awards, and More!

$1000 giveaway, annual awards banquet, and C-Suite Roundtable all coming up for the Harrison Chamber.

In the most recent Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce newsletter the chamber announced a $1000 giveaway in their “Empower Local Scavenger Hunt,” nominations are open for the 2022 chamber’s annual awards banquet, and an upcoming event for young professionals called “The Bridge: C-Suite Roundtable.”

The “Empower Local Scavenger Hunt” is a part of the “Small Biz Connection” and asks people to sign up using Facebook Messenger or text message. Simple visit the empower local website and scroll down to select “Start Your Hunt.” From there you will be instructed on how to acquire special codes from participating businesses and log each one you find. The more businesses you find, the better your chances are to win.

The 2022 Annual Chamber Awards Banquet will be held on January 18th, 2022 and will feature many awards given out to local businesses and people. Categories to nominate businesses include Prime Business of the Year, Main Street Business of the Year, Diversity and Equity, Inclusivity Award, and Non-Profit Organization Award of Excellence. One community leader will win the Jerry McFarland Outstanding Youth/Youth Organization Award, and another the Terry Stambaugh Special Merit Award. Nominations will be accepted through December 17th, 2021 and will be presented at the banquet in January.

Finally, “The Bridge: C-Suite Roundtable” connects young professionals with business community leaders. According to their website the event will allow small groups of young professionals to spend 15 minutes with the four business leader participants. The C-level guests will include DSI Owner Mike McNutt, Nature’s Wonders owner Chris Rost, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Operating Officer and soon to be interim CEO of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center Sammi Cribbs, and Methvin Sanitation owner Mark Methvin. Registration is limited to the first 20 people and costs $20 per person. The event will be held at North Arkansas College on December 7th, 2021.
