Harrison Parks Director Chuck Eddington talked Wednesday about upcoming activities and more.
During KHOZ's "Around The Table" Wednesday broadcast, Eddington said sports are about to launch. Feb. 26 is the first softball and baseball tournament. "We're booked all the way through August," Eddington said. He added that this is the "biggest year" for these sports, and that another sport is included.
That sport is cycling. He explained that National Interscholastic Cycling Association has a place since finishing the college trail. "We'll be having events there in August as well," he said. The parks director said 700 students may partake in state races.
