Harrison Mayor Jerry Jackson Talked Public Safety Building Progress, Other Projects

Harrison, Arkansas Mayor Jerry Jackson said Wednesday that the public safety building has progressed “really, really well.”

“I’m so proud of all our local people,” Jackson said. He said 90% of the people working on this project are locals.

“Those are the kind of people you want. They get it. They’re moving it as fast as they can,” Jackson said. In addition to getting a “great price” on this project, Jackson said “we got 1.7% interest on $4 million.”

Jackson said it should be done by mid-June. He also discussed other projects on KHOZ. The full interview with Jackson is on the “Around The Table” Facebook Page.
