Harrison's Christmas parade approaches.
Explore Harrison Executive Director Matt Bell spoke about the parade during KHOZ's "Around The Table" broadcast on Tuesday. The parade will start at 7 p.m. on Nov. 27. Bell said there are 87 registered entries this year compared to last year's number of 64.
While that's a positive, Bell said it half of the parking lot is occupied because of the Creekside Community Center construction project. To remedy this, participants in the parade will go to the soccer complex. "They're going to come up the path," he said.
Vehicles such as dump trucks, semis, and tow trucks need to park in the parking lot of the old junior high school. More was discussed on the broadcast. Anyone wanting more information can call Explore Harrison at 870-741-1789.
