Glenn Redding Talks Recent Bills Passed Near end of Legislative Session

Boone County Quorum Court member Glenn Redding talks Thursday about what was thought to be a noise ordinance by Arkansas state representatives and the state Senate.

Redding appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to discuss it. Act 851 was House Bill 1799 and Act 819 was House Bill 1654. The KHOZ guest explained that the bills actually protect data mining centers. He said that people discovered what they were after the bills passed.

He added that this was also the case for lawmakers. "That's kind of what's wrong with the United States today is we pass things without reading them," Redding said. Legislators in the Arkansas Senate shared their understanding with him.

Redding revealed that he learned they were passed "in the last few hours" of the session. He said they were titled in a way to come off as bills related to community security. More was discussed on the broadcast.

The full interview with Redding is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
