First day of Election Filings Sees Nearly 30 Candidates Added to the Ballot

A list of the 29 people who filed for office on the first day of filing.

Election filings for the May primary in Boone County started yesterday at noon for political party filings, and at 3:00 PM for non-partisan filings.

According to the Boone County Election office 29 people met the requirements to be included on the ballot on day one of filing, which will continue until March 1st.

The following list will be updated daily. So far, the offices that have candidates filed to run for office include:

  • Bobby Woods

  • Mark E. Foresee

 

County Clerk

Circuit Clerk
