The Square in Harrison is the location for a twice weekly market.
The Farmers and Artisans Market takes place Wednesday and Saturday Mornings from 7 to Noon and features a wide variety produce as well as locally produced meat and eggs.
Carrie Ricther helps coordinate the Market and on Tuesday's Edition of KHOZ's Around the Table Program, she talked about the different people that help put the market together and also describes some of the other products available including locally produced honey, jams, jellies, baked goods as well as many craft and floral items. Live music is also a part of the activities.
Ricther also discusses other events the group takes part in including the upcoming Harvest Homecoming in October and Downtown Christmas Market in November.
