Bob Largent and Wilson Marseilles from Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce talked Thursday about economic development and professional opportunities.
Largent attended a quorum court meeting where he delivered the quarterly report. Largent said during KHOZ's "Around The Table" that he told the court that as much momentum that's happened over the last 12 to 18 months, this last quarter has blossomed. This means "individual prosperity to the individual citizen" that lives in Harrison, Boone and the region.
Largent said it's not about one person or a group but everyone benefiting from new or expanding business and other opportunities. He said he thinks people are "finding out how good we have it" in the area. "It's really, really moving on," he said. Later, Marseilles discussed Chamber events for young professionals; these events aid students in establishing mentorship and more.
