An Earthquake registering 2.4 on the Richter scale is recorded in an area around the Boone/Searcy County line earlier this week.
According to the report from the U.S Geological Survey, the quake’s epicenter was reported near Everton at around 8:40 Tuesday evening. According to a report, quakes of that magnitude are usually not felt but can be by people close to the epicenter.
People in that area that felt the quake are asked to report it to the U.S. Geological Survey.
