Missouri Man Charged for Threats Against Arkansas Woman

A Boone County man is facing multiple felony charges for threatening a woman through several text messages.

According to the probable cause affidavit, in October, the victim filed a complaint with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office against a man for terroristic threatening. The victim showed deputies text messages she had been receiving from the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Thomas Eric Duncan of Willard.

The victim reported Duncan was the father to her son and he had no contact with her for 14 years. She stated she filed for state medical benefits for her son and in turn the state has now contacted Duncan for back child support which then led to the alleged threats.

Duncan was arrested and booked into the Boone County Detention Center on Friday. He has been charged with five felony counts for the threats. He was released on a bond of $15,000 and ordered to have no contact with the victims or visit their residence.
