A Boone County man wanted for his alleged involvement with a motorcycle theft has been apprehended.
According to Boone County Sheriff Roy Martin states 43-year-old Larry “Bubba” Thompson was arrested Wednesday on an outstanding warrant as well as allegations of his involvement of a reported stolen motorcycle.
Authorities learned Thompson was residing in a basement apartment near Cherry Lane. When they arrived, Thompson refused to come to the door. Boone County Sheriff’s deputies along with officers from the Harrison Police Department were able to successfully enter the apartment and take Thompson into custody without incident. A female who was also present in the home was taken into custody and charged with obstruction.
Following the arrest, deputies were able to successfully recover the stolen motorcycle.
Thompson is currently being held in the Boone County Detention Center without bond. He faces an additional felony theft charge.
