Boone County Man Arrested For Domestic Battery

A Boone County man is facing domestic battery charges after assaulting the victim over medications.

According to the probable cause affidavit posted by KTLO, on January 8, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. Before the call was dropped, the victim told dispatchers she was bleeding from behind her ears and face.

When the deputies arrived, the discovered 51-year-old Bobby Ralph Harvill of Harrison along with the victim at the residence and found out through visiting with both people that the argument stemmed from the victim taking too long in Harvill’s opinion in getting the medication after which he allegedly got violent. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. Harvill was arrested and charged with one felony count of second-degree domestic battery and several misdemeanor counts.

Harvill was booked and released from the Boone County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond. He was ordered no contact with the victim and is scheduled to appear in court on February 6.
