Two Boone County residents have been arrested and charged in connection with a break-in at an auto dealership.

According to the report posted by KTLO, the keys to all the vehicles on the lot were reportedly taken, along with two autos. The pair also allegedly took customer files, financial papers and the personal mail of the dealership owners.

Charged in connection with the incident are 21-year-old Thomas Ty Marshall and his live-in girlfriend, 21-year-old Heather Paige Holt.

According to the probable cause affidavit, officers from the Harrison Police Department responded to the reported break-in at 62 Auto Sales, located along Arkansas Highway 43, on Jan. 30.

Officers discovered the business had been entered by prying open a window.

In addition to the missing keys and paperwork, the complainant reported the theft of a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu and a 2005 Cadillac SUV.

After taking the report, officers were notified a vehicle recently purchased from the dealership was found abandoned at a nearby residence. The vehicle was identified as having been sold to Marshall.

At the residence Marshall shares with Holt along East South Avenue, officers found the Cadillac reported stolen from the dealership. The license plate on the SUV had been displayed on another vehicle Marshall was reportedly driving when he was stopped some months prior.

A search warrant was served on Marshall’s apartment where dealership paperwork, mail and car keys were recovered. The items were located in a backpack concealed in the apartment’s air conditioning duct work. In the same area, officers reportedly located a purse containing drug paraphernalia. The surfaces of the items tested positive for methamphetamine.

– Theft of property, a Class C felony; and
– Possession of drug paraphernalia used to ingest methamphetamine into the body, a Class D felony.

Holt has been charged with
