Boone Co. Sheriff’s Office Notifies Public of Newly Registered Sex Offender

Level 2 offender who has twice failed to register in Boone County as an sex offender.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office sent a public notification on Tuesday, August 16th, of a newly registered sex offender living in Omaha, Arkansas who has twice failed to properly register as a sex offender.

Vincent Thomas Ambriati is registered as level 2 sex offender which is defined on the Boone County Sheriff’s website as, “Moderate Level. Usually these are individuals with limited or circumscribed prior history of sexual acting out, possess some antisocial personality characteristics, predatory tendencies, or deviant sexual interest or behavioral patterns that increased the general level of risk these offenders pose. They may have mild well-controlled mental disorders, and/or developmental disabilities.”

The notification says he had participated in sexual acts with a 13-year-old female at an unspecified date.

A search of court records in Arkansas and Missouri did not turn up a sexual assault cast against Ambriati but did show that he has failed to register as a sex offender twice, has a 3rd degree assault charge pending from July 29th in Taney County, Missouri, and several other past charges.
