A pair of Boil Water Orders are in effect for a couple of area water districts.
According to the Arkansas Department of Health, a boil order has been issued for customers of the SDM Water System in the area of Silver Hill Road and U.S. Highway 65 north of Marshall in Searcy County. That order is for a main break.
Meanwhile, a boil order continues for the Nail-Swain Water System in Newton County. The order is for all services south of Arkansas Highway 16 at Cassville.
All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded, and only boiled water used for making ice.
