Bob Largent Said he’s Running in Most Contested Arkansas Senate District

Arkansas Senate District 28 Republican Candidate Bob Largent said the district he’s running in is the most contested Arkansas Senate district in the state with five people running in this primary.

Largent appeared on KHOZ’s “Around The Table” Monday to discuss his running. Largent said running in the race was “never on my bucket list.” He said agriculture, tourism, transportation and infrastructure are what impact lives daily.

He said he doesn’t want to see the momentum in North Central Arkansas “slack up.” He said it is his contention that the new governor will have a full plate. He wants to make known what North Arkansas brings to the table

“We need a strong voice with solid leadership potential and the ability to work with folks in Little Rock,” Largent said. He added that this is what he will bring to the table.

The full interview with Largent is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
