Bill Cassaday Returns to KHOZ

KHOZ has realigned its weekday line-up of hosts by adding Bill Cassaday back to mornings. Cassaday started on Monday as the new host form 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on The Original, KHOZ, 94.9 FM & AM 900. 

Cassaday first started working for the station in 2006 at around the time of its 60^th anniversary. He worked part-time at the station in various on-air roles until 2019. He was part of the KHOZ’s flip from adult contemporary music to country and two years after his departure he has returned to the station.

Bill joined KHOZ’s “Around The Table” program on Monday to talk about his new role with the station and what he’s been up to in the last two years. He talked about his time in Florida, where he owns property at The Villages, saying that he rents out the property during the winter months and spends his summers there.

Cassaday says he plans to add more features to the mornings after the Christmas Holidays passes. Until then he’ll be featuring Christmas music each morning and taking song requests. You can text KHOZ anytime of the day at (870)-293-6671.

Bill will continue to host KHOZ’s morning slot until mid-April of 2022 when the station will be announcing a more permanent host for that role. Previous host Coleman Taylor is still on the air with the station but has moved to middays from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Taylor also hosts “Around the Table” along with Spree Hilliard from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM.
