Regional/State Tournament Sites for Local Arkansas Teams Set

Multiple tournaments will be held in Harrison.

The Arkansas Activities Association met on Thursday to set the locations for state and regional tournaments for the 2022 sports seasons.

For area schools in the 4A North Region (Harrison, Berryville) the sights will be as follows:

Basketball (Boys and Girls) State Tournament – Magnolia

Basketball (Boys and Girls) Regional Tournament – Farmington

Baseball State Tournament – Nashville

Baseball Regional Tournament – Morrilton

Softball State Tournament – Nashville

Softball Regional Tournament – Morrilton

Soccer State Tournament – Robinson

Volleyball State Tournament – Brookland

For area schools in the 3A Region 1 (Valley Springs, Bergman) the sights will be as follows

Basketball (Boys and Girls) State Tournament – Valley Springs (At North Arkansas College)

Basketball (Boys and Girls) Regional Tournament – Rose Bud

Baseball State Tournament – Valley Springs (At Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison)

Baseball Regional Tournament – Greenland

Softball State Tournament – Valley Springs (At Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison)

Softball Regional Tournament – Greenland

Soccer State Tournament – Bergman (At Anstaff Soccer Complex in Harrison)

Volleyball State Tournament – Harding Academy

For Area Schools in the 1A Region 1 (Lead Hill, Jasper, Omaha, Western Grove, Deer, St. Joe, Mt. Judea) the sights will be as follows:

Baseball State Tournament – Ouachita

Baseball Regional Tournament – Omaha (At Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison)

Softball State Tournament – Ouachita

Harrison picked up the state track & field tournament for class 4A after no other bids were cast.

All cross-country state meets will be held in Lake Hamilton.
