The Harrison Goblins survive their match-up with Hot Springs to advance in the 5A State Tournament in Pine Bluff.
The Goblins won a back and forth match-up with the Trojans holding on for a 58-56 win. The Goblins raise their record to 22-9 and will face off against Lake Hamilton in the 5A Semi-finals Saturday evening at 7:30 that can be heard on MOARK Sports Dot Com and 94.9 KHOZ.
Both Bergman team came up with wins in the 3A Tournament in Lamar. Those and other scores can be seen at the end of this story.
Meanwhile, both Branson and Hollister lost their District games on Friday. The Pirates, after upsetting top seeded Bolivar in the opening round of the Class 5 District in Willard on Wednesday, could not repeat the magic in the semi-finals as the Hillcrest Hornets pull away in the second half to win 54-37. Meanwhile Hollister dropped the Class 4 District Championship Game on their home floor to Rogersville 53-40.
Today, MOARK Sports will feature the Class 5 Girls District Semi-final at Marshfield as Branson will play West Plains at 1:00.
