Hot and Humid conditions return to the Lakes Region this week.
The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for all of the Lakes Region beginning late this morning. Temperatures are expected to be around 100 with high humidity pushing the Head Index Readings to around 110.
In a statement from the weather service, people are reminded to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out
of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors as well as take extra precautions when working or spending time outside.
The extreme heat is expected to last through Thursday with only a slight cool down expected going into next weekend.
