Superintendent Pratt on School Board, Bus Drivers and More

Superintendent of Harrison Schools Stewart Pratt said Monday that a board meeting will run Tuesday evening; Pratt also discussed other topics, including the number of bus drivers.

Pratt said during his Monday appearance on KHOZ's "Around The Table" that the board meeting will include routine reports, submittals to the state and staff recognition. Aside from the meeting, Pratt said school is moving along nicely.

"Our enrollment's up. We're at 2771 which is good, big numbers for us," Pratt said. He also said the students and staff are doing well; he expressed appreciation for parents. Bus routes were added to combat overcrowding on buses. The superintendent discussed a need for bus drivers.

He said he thinks one or two more drivers would be useful. Day route drivers are covered, but activity routes like band or choir also need drivers. There aren't enough for both routes. Pratt talked about all of this and more.

The full interview with Pratt is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
