The Sheriff says the roads are completely covered.
Sheriff Tim Roberson shared a statement this afternoon shortly before 2:00 PM about road conditions in the county.
It read, "I got out and drove around. As you can imagine the roads are covered... all county roads and HWY 206 are completely covered. The county and state road crews are out in full force and doing a great job, although there is only so much they can do. So, if folks can stay home that's the best option. If they must travel the normal precautions that we always talk about are necessary."
He went on to say that if people have no way to get to their relatives that need medication or something else necessary they can contact the sheriff's office and they will do all they can to deliver the necessary items and take care of those in need.
Please only utilize this option if it is absolutely necessary and there is no alternative.
