State Arkansas Senator Bryan King Criticized Crypto Mining Bill and the Process Which "snuck" it in.

On Friday, State Arkansas Senator Bryan King criticized a recent crypto mining bill and the process which "snuck" it in.

King appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" asking for "a fair word and a fair fight." He said he wants people to "be able to make an informed decision and to be able to inform the public too because the public was failed in this whole process." He said the session in which the bill "got snuck through" saw a 10-and-a-half-hour day in session. Many bills were coming in, along with "batch bills."

The state senator said the process should be slower in accordance with how Founding Fathers like James Madison intended. King said personal staff isn't provided, so nobody helps to mine through all of the bills.

He listed three problems: the bill was "rushed through," the crypto miners have more protection than any other local business in the state and then there's questions surrounding the people and money connected to the bill. More was discussed on the broadcast.

The full interview with King is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
