St. Louis Cardinals Coming to The Original KHOZ, 94.9 FM & AM 900

KHOZ is now a member of the Cardinal Radio Network.

Ozarks DynaCom is proud to announce that The Original KHOZ, 94.9 FM & AM 900, is adding Cardinal Baseball to its on-air lineup for the 2022 season starting with spring training in March.

The Original KHOZ is Harrison’s hometown radio station of more than 75 years and prides itself on quality coverage of local sports. The addition of Cardinal’s Baseball will broaden that coverage to provide a listening avenue for Cardinal fans that currently is not available in this area.

KHOZ’s coverage will include all regular and post season games along with select spring training games as well as gameday updates on KHOZ’s morning show with Bill Cassaday.

Coleman Taylor, Station Leader of The Original KHOZ, said, “We live in Cardinal country. As a lifelong Cardinal’s fan, I’m very excited for our community and myself as well to have a local radio home to listen to every ballgame this season.”  

KHOZ will become one of 14 Cardinal Affiliates in Arkansas. The Cardinals currently have the largest radio affiliation in Major League Baseball across eight states in the Midwest.

Ozarks DynaCom General Manager Steve Willoughby said, “We are focused on serving the 94.9 listener, and that iincludes a whole lot of Cardinal fans. I have a lot of memories sitting on the porch with my Uncle Bill listening to the great Jack Buck and Cardinal baseball; I hope we can help create some new ones.” 

Some questions remain about the early portion of the season. As more details become available KHOZ will be informing listeners of exactly what they can expect from the Cardinals this season.
