Man Facing Charges of Breaking into Vehicles at Harrison High School

A Harrison man is facing theft charges after admitting to his ex-girlfriend he had broken into vehicles on the high school campus.

According to the probable cause affidavit, on December 4, the Harrison Police Department responded to a call of multiple vehicles which had been broken into on the campus of Harrison High School. Upon arrival, a victim’s reported a laptop, floral bag and pharmaceutical script pads had been stolen. A few hours later, an informant notified authorities she knew where several of the stolen items were located.

The informant stated her ex-boyfriend, identified as 29-year-old Brandon Glover, while at her residence, told her he was going to for a walk. When Glover returned, he had a laptop in a flower bag and $135 in cash. She stated Glover told her he had allegedly broken into someone’s vehicle and stole the items. After realizing what Glover had told her, she contacted the Harrison Police Department. She reported to officers Glover was highly intoxicated and is known to be violent towards law enforcement.

Officers confirmed Glover was on active supervision probation along with having an active search warrant. Before officers entered the residence, the informant provided a copy of the lease agreement, confirming Glover lived at the residence. When officers went inside, they immediately found Glover sleeping in the bedroom. Officers located on Glovers bed a laptop, floral bag and prescription pads. On the nightstand next to the bed, officers recovered cash in the amount of $135. When questioned about the items, Glover stated the items were given to him from a friend for a Christmas present.

Glover was booked and released from the Boone County Detention Center on felony charges of breaking or entering and theft of property. He was released on a $15,000 bond.
