Informed Choices Helps Parents Facing Unexpected Pregnancy

Informed Choices helps parents facing unexpected pregnancies.

Rhonda Graham, the director of the organization, appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Wednesday to talk about what the organization offers. It's a pregnancy resource center. The Harrison location is five years old; Graham said they are a "branch" of the Mountain Home location.

The center helps in a variety of ways. "We give free pregnancy tests, just to confirm they are [pregnant]," Graham said. They also provide limited ultrasounds for up to 13 weeks. Additionally, they have a mentoring program to aid moms and dads in learning to parent and much more.

The nonprofit is totally donation-funded. Graham said that churches and businesses have baby bottles waiting to be filled with donations.

Those donations fuel the operation to help moms and dads get free resources. Graham said the location had 167 moms and dads come in for help. Many of the parents are referred by doctors and colleges.

Informed Choices also offers post-abortion emotional support. Graham is available by phone at 870-280-3169. More was discussed on the broadcast.

The full interview with Graham is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
