Harrison Man Charged with Possession of Child Pornography

A man from Harrison is facing nearly two dozen charges in relation to the possession and distribution of child pornography.

Online court documents indicate that in June of 2024, an employee from Cox Communications was making a service call to the residence of 80-year-old Stan Lyman. The employee had to access Lyman’s computer when a child pornography image appeared on the screen. The employee left the residence stating he needed to check on something at which time he reported the incident to his employer then later to Harrison Police. Officers later went to Lyman’s residence to execute a search warrant where more materials were found.

Lyman posted a $75,000 Bond with his next court appearance scheduled for Tuesday.
