Camp Jack is prepared for Veterans Day activities.
Callie Mondy from Camp Jack appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Thursday to talk about the organization's observance of Veterans Day. The group's Veterans Day parade will actually occur on Nov. 10 at 5 p.m. instead of Nov. 11. This will allow the other activities to still happen without too much going on at once.
The 5 p.m. parade will go through downtown, and Mondy said the "most patriotic pooch" will lead it. Aside from that, Mondy said the pancake breakfast is on Nov. 11. It's free to Veterans and their families.
Mondy also shared a "big announcement." The Camp Jack clothing pantry has moved in preparation for the remodel.
The pantry will be where Best Choice Insurance once was. This move is temporary.
The pantry should be at the new location in a couple of weeks from the Thursday of this interview. Parade entries may still be needed. More was discussed during the interview.
