A Bull Shoals woman has been charged with theft of property after failing to return a vehicle she borrowed.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the Bull Shoals Police Department was advised of a stolen vehicle off Browns Beach Road. The victim stated he allowed the suspect, 26-year-old Anastasia Gray, borrow his truck and she was to return it that night.
A few days later, Gray called the police department and stated she had borrowed the victims truck and was currently in Kansas City, Mo. She stated she would return the truck to the victim no later than the following morning.
Since then, Gray has failed to return the truck.
Gray was charged with theft of property and is currently being held in the Marion County Detention Center on $15,000 bond.
