A Boone County woman has been arrested for attempting to hit her estranged husband with her vehicle, crashing into her son’s car and then fleeing the scene.
Facing multiple charges for the incident is 58-year-old Melody Jane Tapprich of rural Harrison.
Tapprich is accused of trying to hit her estranged husband after an argument on the phone led her to his residence where she eventually got into vehicle and rammed their son's car moving it toward the house where the victim was standing.
Tapprich is facing felony charges of aggravated assault on a family or household member, residential burglary and criminal mischief along with a half dozen misdemeanor charges. She is being held in the Boone County Detention Center on bonds totaling $10,000.
